Description of Funds

Israel Congregation Tzedakah Funds

General Operating

General Fund: Helps subsidize our day-to-day operating costs.
Endowment Fund: Investment income helps subsidize day-to-day operating costs.
Tikkun Ha Nefesh: Supports local and international charitable activities.


Ritual

Clergy's Discretionary Fund: Allows the Clergy to subsidize or contribute to efforts as necessary.
Goldsmith Prayer Book Fund: Provides for new prayer books and Torah texts.
Music Fund: Pays for cantorial services not part of a holiday (i.e. Friday nights).
Shabbat Dinner Fund: Pays for our communal Shabbat Dinners.


Education

Bloom Cultural Affairs Fund: Pays for guest scholars, and helps subsidize adult education and cultural programming.
Horowitz Children's Education Fund: Provides cultural and educational enhancements to the Hebrew School Program.
Merkado Library Fund: Provides books and materials for our library.

Lyon and Andreen Parenting Fund: In support of the Parenting Through a Jewish Lens program.


Buildings & Grounds

Jannke Maintenance Endowment: Provides for the on-going strength and integrity of the facility. 
Kalinsky Memorial Garden: Provides for enhancements to the grounds.

Skulnik Building Improvement Fund : Pays for major repairs and updates to the building.


Scholarship

Glatt Lingley Fund: For a graduating congregant going to college
Kamber Fund: For individuals pursuing Judaic studies.
